Flights :

Guests should book flights into Denpasar, Bali at Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS). Alternatively, guests can fly into Jakarta (CGK) via Soekarno-Hatta International Airport (CGK). We recommend utilizing major air carriers such as Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airlines, Delta Air Lines/Korean Airlines, etc.   

 

Please note the major time difference (GMT+8) in Bali and plan to arrive on/around November 20th(recommended) to give yourself enough time to acclimate to the time difference.  

 

Example Itineraries:

• ATL-JFK-SIN-DPS (JetBlue/Singapore Airlines)

• ATL-DOH-DPS (Qatar Airlines)

• ATL-ICN-DPS (Delta Air Lines/Korean Airlines)

 

Visa:

Please refer to travel.state.gov and review your airline’s policy for details. Make sure that your passport is valid for at least six months prior to visiting Bali.  

 

A visa will be required.  The visa can be obtained on your arrival to Indonesia at Bali Ngurah Rai International Airport (DPS) or Jakarta International Airport (CGK) for ~$35 USD.

 

Transportation: 

 

Gojek and Grab are popular ride booking services available in Bali. Bluebird Taxi is also another option for taxi services.  We recommend hiring a private driver to navigate around Bali (~$75/day). Please do not drink and drive.

 

Wedding Shuttles:

 

We will also arrange wedding venue shuttles to pre-selected hotels (TBD).  These shuttles will transport guests from these hotel locations to the venue at Plenilunio Villa.  After the reception ends at TBD, the shuttles will return the guests back to the pre-selected hotels (TBD). 

 

Hotels: 

We recommend guests to book hotels or private villas near Nusa Dua (30-45 min drive to venue) and Uluwatu (15-30 min drive to venue). We do not recommend you to book near Ubud, Canggu, Kuta, or Seminyak for the wedding stay since it is a lengthy drive to the wedding venue at Plenilunio Villa.

 

Prices for both villas and hotels range widely – depending on your personal preferences for level of luxury.  Below are a few recommended hotels from our wedding organizer and from our personal experience:

• Sofitel Nusa Dua Beach ($197+/night)

• Renaissance Nusa Dua Beach ($123+/night)

The team will make every attempt to arrange for the best prices at the preferred hotels above or accommodate to the guests’ preferences. Please note: any group discounts will be dependent on meeting each hotel’s minimum number of bookings (~10).
